It has FINALLY CLICKED for me, Michele Brock, TODAY! Have been sitting here watching all of these absolutely WONDERFUL FAITH BASED and SPIRITUAL movies and getting full and filled with GODs Holy Spirit! The light bulb went off during a scene in Left Behind: World at War! I started to cry as I asked myself these questions: 1. What shall I do WHEN THE RAPTURE occurs and Im NOT one of the members of the BODY OF CHRIST who is lifted up into the heavens? 2. What shall I do if I am LEFT BEHIND to deal with all of the chaos and conflict that the anti-christ will bestow upon this earth? 3. How do I expect myself to be able to maintain my CHRISTIAN walk and faith, in the midst of it all? The bible says in 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Pastor Sandra Gillespie ALWAYS tells us, YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOME SCHOLAR WITH THAT HOLLAR! AMEN! I look at my own life and know that I personally havent been studying GODs word, not nearly enough! Ive become dependent on GOOGLE, both via the Internet and my phone! I can very easily quote the appropriate scripture via these tools. However, even though I KNOW that there is a scripture in the bible to address anything and everything that man can think of in this earthly existence, GODS WORD is not in me, rooted in my gut, for me to be able to pull it forth and recite at a moments notice. I learned several weeks ago that even in PRAYER, as an INTERCESSOR for myself, family, loved ones, our government leaders, the state of our communities and the world, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO BACK INCORPORATE GODS WORD! WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REFERENCE GODS WORD AS WE KNEEL BEFORE THE THRONE OR STAND AT THE WALL IN PRAYER! TRUST THAT lucifer knows the bible backwards and forward and can recite the bible from Genesis to Revelation! Shouldnt I, a member of the BODY OF JESUS CHRIST, be able to do the same? I am ashamed at myself for being a slacker! I can sing word for word ENTIRE ALBUMS from Yolanda Adams (1999 Mountain High...Valley Low) to Alicia Keys (2001 Songs in A Minor), but, I cant readily recite GODs word! So, when I have to face satans legions of demons, I can stand in the gap and make GOD proud of me by singing Alicia Keys A Womans Worth! SMH HOW PATHETIC AM I? THE THING THAT FINALLY CLICKED IN MY SPIRIT TODAY, AFTER WATCHING Left Behind: World at War is this, in order for me to be a true PRAYER WARRIOR, STANDING IN THE GAP AND INTERCEDING WHEREVER AND WHENEVER NEEDED, I NEED TO BE EQUIPPED WITH THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD, otherwise, Im not set apart. Im just like everyone else in the world. Im sheep amongst wolves not fully equipped to protect myself, let alone having the ability to intercede over anyone else. So, when there is no electricity or computer access and you cant listen to Mary Mary or Kirk Franklin on your mp3 player or you dont have access to bible scriptures via the Internet or your smartphone and youre in the dark and cant reach any of your church leaders to ask them to pray for you because youre unsure about your ability to pray for yourself, you need to be able to reach down into your gut and pull out and stand on GODs word! This world and the evils in it can hurt our flesh, but, with GODs word in us coupled with our faith, WE CANT BE TOUCHED BECAUSE WERE HEIRS TO THE THRONE! They can destroy our earthly possessions and make our lives SEEM like a living hell, but, what is ours, GOD GIVEN, IT CANT BE TOUCHED! THAT, my family and friends, is what is being said in GODs word in Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. YES, sometimes, this scripture can apply in the work place when someones trying to cheat you out of your promotion or when a friend who really isnt a friend is trying to destroy your happy home, but, this scripture could also apply to someone who has taken the life of a CHRISTIAN. However, Isaiah 54:17 STILL APPLIES because Matthew 5:10 says, Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. ANYTHING can happen to our physical selves here on earth, but, its our SOULS AND OUR SALVATION that JESUS CHRIST hung and died on the cross for so that we might have everlasting life! WOW! I SO GET IT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
