It has become a daily ritual for us Libyans to mention the names - TopicsExpress

It has become a daily ritual for us Libyans to mention the names of those killed in the motherland. I was shown an image of a young man killed today in Benghazi, and to my eyes disbelief it was the familiar face of someone I knew. The shock and fear and sickness that ran through my body was tremendous, and I wasnt even close to Tawfik Bensaud. This made me realize the magnitude of such atrocities. What if this was a relative? Or a lover? I cant imagine I would bear the amplification of sad feelings. I then realized this happens everyday. Every innocent that dies, an entire community mourns, everywhere. The statistics of broken hearts every single day are staggering. My aunt Amal Abdelaziz , this very day, also lost her uncle to an atrocity at the hands of the terrorists loose in Benghazi. These murders and brutes whom take lives daily with impunity and leave trails of blood will meet their justice. La illaah illaah Allah.
