It has become part of their morning routine to play until they collapse after breakfast, the video shows about 30 seconds of their craziness! Weekly Summary It’s been a very good week for Prince, he is settling very nicely now and is really coming out of his shell. It wasn’t real apparent, like it is with some dogs, but now that he is relaxing it has shown me just how traumatized he was leaving his home. This week has been pivotal for him. He and Rocco are playing like life long buddies, he is much more playful and happy in general. We began letting him off leash outside and while he doesn’t wander far he does explore a bit on his own or with Rocco. He still is not completely house trained but he is making progress and has started going to the door to go out. We have caught him starting to mark a few times and we have found a wet belly band a few times. Prince is an excitement dribbler, so when he gets anxious or just too happy he will leave a little in the band. We have left the boys home alone for hours and returned to find his band is dry so he is getting there. We started him on a teaspoon of olive oil daily and we are already seeing improvement in his coat. We are also combing him, washing his eyes daily and encouraging him to give up his feet to make grooming easier. Not that he is a bad groomer but he does get a little anxious with it. I have to say that he isn’t 100% yet but he is going to make a great addition to a family looking for a handsome, friendly and thoroughly delightful poodle…it’s going to be really tough to say goodbye this boy!
