It has been 10 years since I last went to a dentist. I believe that was round about the time I had to start paying for it. Unfortunately, due to a wee filling escaping from its resting place, I was forced to seek out a dentist within Auckland. A survey taken on the prices of fillings in NZ said that the prices should range from $160 to $220 (that latter being rather expensive) for a typical, shitty, silver filling. Upon checking out a few dentists in the city, I discovered the cheaper fillings would cost me a minimum of $250, one place even quoted me as much as $380, and that was their starting price! Holy mackeral! Anyway, being the poor student I am, I did some further research and discovered the ultimate deal. I could spend upwards of $250 for a budget silver filling in the city, OR, I could go to Mt Wellington and get two X-rays, a good ol teeth clean and polish, AND, three WHITE fillings for 200 smackeroos! Just to clarify, thats $200. In summation, if you need to see a dentist, check out Bright Smile Dental. Way bloody cheaper. Its rather ethnic, but well worth it if you dont mind... I know I dont! Plus, afterwards, you can quite happily pull and poke at your numb lip and it is just delightful! Youll have a whale of time!
