It has been 176 hours and about 52 minutes since my Mother in Law passed away. This happened Monday, June 3rd. She was a sweet and kind lady. She lit up like a Christmas tree whenever she saw John, Jessica and Jenna. She always had a smile on her face no matter what the circumstances were and never had a harsh word for anything. There is a lot to be learned by that. We lost a good person but Heaven gained another angel. In this mobile society we live in these days, we tend to loose track of family from time to time due to having jobs that may be several travel days away from relatives and that is sad. The foundation of this country is family and for that matter the foundation of any society is the family. So make it a point to tell your in laws you care about them and love them. Life is too short, here today, gone a few days later. Jessica and Jenna called her on her birthday May 27th and she was of good spirit even though in the hospital, and she left to go see God on June 3rd. Her son Charles Lawler performed the service and I have to admit, I doubt I could have done it. He did a beautiful job, kudos to him.
