It has been 2 weeks since my baby went to be with The Lord. Trying to deal with my own pain & grieve, I only realised yesterday how her death affected the other kids. And the one who struggles the most to come to terms with it, is my black beauty, Chinue. He literally cried the WHOLE of yesterday, walking around & looking for her. He acts out (much more than his usual kitty crazees) just to get attention & if I dont respond to that, he throws a tantrum that will leave many 2yr olds blood red with embarrassment at their inadequate attempts. And that made me think.... People say that animals dont experience loss and they dont grieve. But on the contrary.... I have witnessed how mine grieve about their sister who is gone ... and it is ♥breaking to see their emotional turmoil and not being able to do anything to ease their pain. So, all that is left to do, is to shower them with much more love & attention than what they already get. Love them sssooooo much!!!
