It has been a bit more than 6 months since I was kicked to the curb by my former employer after several years of exemplary service, award winning performance and multiple promotions. It was a rough go for my family for a while....getting behind on all our bills, almost being evicted from our home, having the power and gas turned off.......but through the Grace of God and the help from many of our friends....we made it. I now have a most excellent job....one that supports my family and I no longer need to work two jobs just to get by, with a company I respect. Out of darkness and into the light.......from a great challenge comes a great success. I do miss my friends from my old job, but to my former employer, and my former manager....that continues to de-value their excellent, long-term, loyal employees by using fear as a management tool.......I am sorry you wasted my time....... To everyone else who has to remain there: If they did it to me (and soooo many others) they can do it to you.....get out while you can. You dont have to take it.......as Bob Marley said: You never know how strong you can be, until being strong is your only choice.
