It has been a busy day here on the Carnival Legend and the guests are in great spirits, apart from one lady who tonight will most likely have nightmares about Rudolph, Donna and Blitzen turning slowly on a spit. I just did a quick walk around the ship after the shows and it was great to see people still up and having fun in the lounges and enjoying the music. I also saw a rare sight indeed…………..three ladies sitting along Promenade deck…………..writing postcards. People don’t send postcards these days, they send e mails, tweets and texts telling their loved ones that they wishes they were here. I can’t remember the last time I got a postcard from someone telling me what a brilliant time they were having. The only postcards that arrive these days have ads on them. Do I want a pizza? New decking? I have been used to getting emails for a larger gentleman’s sausage via email but once actually got a got a card in the mail offering me a bigger one………….. and the handwriting on it looked very much like my wife’s. Bedtime for me. Back with more tomorrow and a blog too. Oh yes, one more thing, we will be in Stavanger, Norway tomorrow and take this post as your postcard saying that I really do…………….wish you were here. Cheers
