It has been a great week cruising on the Carnival Dream. We will be back in port at New Orleans tomorrow. Some exciting things happened. We had to stop after leaving the Cayman Islands and rescue 39 Cuban refuges that had been drifting for 14 days in a makeshift boat. When we stopped in Jamaica they could not be taken in there. The US Coast Guard met our ship a few days after we took them on board and they were off loaded to their vessel. Today we had a medical emergency on board and to US Coast Guard flew a helicopter in and took the passenger to a hospital in New Orleans. Will post pictures of these events later when we have a better wi-fi connection.
