It has been a long day!! For all of you who I did not contact today to tell personally... Kaylee had an appointment today at children hospital for a check up. Well the check up led to me telling them that I had seen kaylee stop breathing in the middle of the night. (This child does not sleep alot at all) The doctor suggested that they should do a scope that went in her nose and looked up close to her voicebox. Well Im glad they did the scope because kaylee has laryngomalacia. Which basically means that she has tissue in her voice box that blocks her airways. Which may be and hopefully the reason why she does not sleep well and why she stops breathing when she does sleep. Kaylee will be have a short surgery on February 3rd to remove some of the tissue to open up her airways. She will have to have an anesthetic to put to under while they do the surgery. While they are in surgery they are going to perform to zap her lip (where her hemangioma is) with a lazer. This helps it go away. Im just hoping that everything works out for the best and miss kaylee will heal quickly and bounce back from her surgery sooner then they think she will!
