It has been a long day today....My day started with Brodys alarm going off at 3am crying loud. He stayed up until 630 crying and I knew something was bothering him and he was hurting somewhere. We took a nap and we headed on to the doctor. He needs some extra days of ear drops and his throat was really irritated. So onto tests for strep and all that. All came back negative so its just the weather changing. It should get better soon and his lungs was clear. He seems a little better tonight so Im praying for a better night. I have also been on the phone with many many people today. I contacted every pediatric rheumatologist in Georgia, Alabama, Florida and no one had any openings until after January too. So I talked to the pediatrician and he agreed Hope needs to go on the urgent list so hopefully with her doctors help and skin doctor together we can get a sooner appointment. Make A Wish Georgia called too and gave me a update on Brodys seizure detecting therapy dog and hopefully within 2 to 3 mths or sooner he will have his therapy dog. So hopefully sooner with that too! And I found a pediatric nursing agency willing to work with us with Brody and our area where we live. Its one in Atlanta but they are willing to hire a nurse for him so maybe that will work so I can get some help. At least one day a week would be great! Had to go run errands and go to the grocery store after the doctors visit. Milk goes quick in our house! A gallon every two days. And then I remember we need this or that while Im at the grocery store. Hope has had a good day. She still is tired and still the rash. But i keep praying for better days for her and Bro. I have started to make a paper chart for the kids medicine but I got to make a more permanent chart for medicine so we can check off each time it is given. Maybe a dry erase board not sure. Its not easy coming to terms with both kids having serious health conditions but each day is a blessings and we will be happy and make the best of each day! I want to thank those that have sent the kids mail and packages! You made the kids day! Hope was so happy to go to the mail box today. They got a great start on cooler weather clothes and awesome books and cookbooks! Thank you! So my day is coming to a close and its time to rest. Another day will be here soon.
