It has been a long year for my youngest. He found out last November that he has a stress fracture in his vertebrae. Losing his entire junior year of basketball so he could rest it took a lot of faith and perseverance. After practicing all summer and fall, it has flared up again and is painful...but he is playing through it. Seeing him on the court tonight did my heart good knowing all he has been through. He came in and immediately scored. I am so proud of his determination and commitment, I hope his senior year is all he has dreamed of!
