It has been a lovely year for Getting Deeper. When I first started the blog I had absolutely no idea how enriching the entire journey forward would be. True passion, genuine words and mutual support has gotten it to the place where it is now. I never tried to mold into something that it wasn’t meant to be. Everything has been a result of wherever my musical inclinations took me… one step at a time. It had to be authentic and more importantly honest. Firstly, I would like to thank every single artist and every single fan who has made this year MASSIVE for Getting Deeper. And of course… to all my friends who helped me spread the word, and who came up to me whenever they could to show true love and support for GD. And now, it’s time to introduce Getting Deeper’s anniversary special… and its 56th podcast by Simon Hoppe aka DINNERDATE. It has been raining since the day began, and there couldn’t have been a better setting for Dinnerdate’s set. The set is a gorgeous package of melodic intricacies and lush beats. Opening this package will follow a deep and emotional journey of a mesmeric, show stopping quality. Mixed to perfection and selected with class, each track in this set is spot on. It hits all the right places at the right time. The end result is a grandiose trip of good vibes and emotional turns that will take you deeper and deeper as the set progresses. It so happened that Dinnerdate’s set fell during GD’s anniversary. How perfect that is! Dinnerdate’s music is a perfect mix of emotional sounds and deep beats. It’s just right to celebrate GD’s first year. The best part is that the set itself is a wholesome mix of a variety of deep sounds. I love it. Thank you Simon for making a BIG set for a BIG year!
