It has been a mistake to ever thought that Obasanjo will support Jonathan in whatever election might come in future, the person who feel ashamed and became embarrassed by the mode of Jonathan leadership style, before the 1 8page letter, there are several kind of such a warning letters sent to Mr. President but he closed his eye and ears till the sudden released of 18 page contradictory letter. I can recalled Obasanjo in the Letter saying Mr President, you have on a number of occasions acknowledged the role God enabled me to play in your ascension to power. You put me third after God and your parents among those that have impacted most on your life. I have always retorted that God only put you where you are and those that could be regarded as having played a role were only instruments of God to achieve God’s purpose in your life he added For me, I believe that politically, it was in the best interest of Nigeria that you, a Nigerian from minority group in the South could rise to the highest pinnacle of political leadership. If Obasanjo could get there, Yar’Adua could get there and Jonathan can get there, any Nigerian can. It is now not a matter of the turn of any section or geographical area but the best interest of Nigeria and all Nigerians so going through all these, it is really too late now for Mr. President to seek for his grand father in politics apology, and Obasanjo will remain by his words, they are separated and will surely remain separated. The voluntary withdrawal of Mr Obasanjo from his most wanted post after he left office as number one citizen (BoT) Chairmanship to PDP and now anti party activities are enough to tell Nigerians that Obasanjo is ready to take the bull by the horn. To finalize the issue, Goodluck Jonathan is gone forever!
