It has been a sad and bad couple of days for lovers of great music and fans of the Rolling Stones and the Faces. If anybody has ever read even one of my remembrances, you known I bemoan the loss of the real deal, the genuine article. In a world overpopulated by posers we are losing all the truly talented players, with no suitable replacements in sight. Yesterday, legendary sax man Bobby Keyes passed away at the age of 70 and today keyboardist Ian Mac McLagan passes away at 69. Feeling inarticulate, you can quote me as saying, This sucks hard and swallows whole. Lets get this party started with one that features both Mac and Bobby.
