It has been a special week ... seems very surreal, yes dream like. But now that the Show is hot on the air waves we all know that now it is REALITY....Auctioneers are often paced in precarious surroundings and we have to adjust, adapt and react to what we we have been positioned to do. As we took the set to Texas Flip N Move, I really did not know what to expect, however I remember what a good friend of mine told me the fist time he and I went to Texas to audition for the part..Mike Walker said that these chances come along once in a life time and that I should make the best of it. DO IT and never look back he said. Well now that the show is being shown on three network channels I am in AWE. Thanks to my special Auctioneer Apprentice Jake Jackson, he was my set up man, ring man, assistant camera man, driver and my biggest supporters during the filming. I know that Bobby Rosales and Casey Cade are also relishing the fact that the producers took stock in their abilities as Auctioneers. Casey and Booby stepped proud into the spotlight and as our two biggest fans Walt Cade and Cheryl Cade cheered us on every day. I will give a huge shout out to the producers, they allowed us to DO WHAT WE DO, no script, no molded talked points, no well ya have to act this way They let us operate with no restrictions. I remember the first time that Greg Quail the producer talked to me and I ask him, What do you want me to Say and he ask me back what do you normally say? and I knew the gloves we off. He let the Auctioneer come out in me * without interruption * I stated the terms and conditions of the sale like I always do and leveraged an old phrase and then coined some new phrases you are buying the property as is where is with any and all faults That me means if you find an alligator in the attic he is yours . Just after that first set Greg ask if I could make up 26 more sayinz like that. So now you will hear many different sayings that I have made up during the show. Heck I been making up stuff since the 3rd grade. Watch all of the Episodes, I think it is a great show not just for the Auctioneers however for the HOUSE MOVERS as well, they are the stars of the show, we became very close friends, they did a superb job and the show would not be possible with out them. All I can say this is Hollywood but the Reality will be well remembered in my mind.
