It has been a stressful last 40 hours or so. I was in Hurricane last weekend visiting my mom. I pulled out of her driveway at 745 Sunday night and she waved good bye to me. Just as I was getting to Spanish Fork area, I got a call from her neighbor saying that my mom was going to the hospital in an ambulance. Come to find out that she had a bowel blockage caused by scar tissue from the kidney transplant 10 years ago. She went into surgery at 3am on Monday morning, but all went well- the scar tissue was all scraped away and she is now recuperating in Dixie Hospital. She is doing as well as can be expected- tired but feels much better than she did late Sunday night. :)
