It has been a very difficult day. My mom can off her vent this morning. She is still suffering from the heart inf and the failing kidneys. It is only a matter of time now. They have moved her to Hospice care. They are only giving her meds to keep her comfortable at this point. I am sorry that I have not updated sooner but our family, friends and I have been spending as much time as possible with my mom. She is mildly responsive but she doesnt really say much and most moments doesnt seem to know what is going on. I will never understand why her brain was taken away before we had a chance to talk and for me to tell her all the things you mean to say. Yes, I can tell her and she will hear me. But, my heart needs that last conversation...the one where I tell her how much I love her and that she made me who I am. To tell her thank you for loving me more than anything for my entire life. Thank you for loving my babies as though they are your own. Thank you for being my very first best friend. Thank you mom, I love you.
