It has been a year since I came to China to start my career as an English teacher to Chinese students. It has been an interesting year which started in Yangshuo, Guangxi Provence. After several weeks in Yangshuo, i moved to Lintong, Shaanxi Provence near Xian. There I taught at the Senior Middle school for nearly 3 months. Here I also enjoyed the pleasure of learning some Ba Gua from Master Chen. During the summer vacation in July and August, I did some travelling around visiting Sanya, Chong Ching, Chengdu, and a few other places. I saw the pandas in Chengdu and the beautiful ladies of Chong Ching (haha, the Chinese believe that they are the most beautiful in China). After the holiday, I moved to Shenzhen to start my new position with the CITA organisation and teaching at the Baoan Number 1 Foreign Language School. I have enjoyed the teaching at this school and look forward to the next 6 months there. Also here in Shenzhen I have started learning Tai Chi for Master Song. I have started with Zhao Bao and am looking forward to understanding it more and starting Chen Style Tai Chi and Xing i in the future. I am looking forward to a rewarding future here and hope that everything will just keep getting better.
