It has been an honor to work alongside Police Chief James Neiswanger, and Im proud to sign a new three-year contract to ensure we continue to have strong and effective leadership at the HPD. Chief Neiswanger and I have worked together over the past two and a half years to bring community policing back to Holyoke - be it the Mobile Community Policing Unit, foot and bike patrols, new community policing substations, a new K-9 unit, and an overall improvement of relationships between our residents and our police officers. I look forward to continue partnering with the Chief and all our courageous officers in the Holyoke Police Department.
