It has been an honour to serve the community of Guelph as your mayor. I would like to congratulate Cam Guthrie and wish him all the best as he begins his term as the leader of this great city in December. Congratulations also to all who have been elected to serve on Council over the next four years. Thanks and congratulations also to everyone who ran for Council. Putting your name on an election ballot is one of the highest forms of public service, and all candidates deserve our thanks. Guelph is blessed with caring and committed people, businesses, and organizations and a professional City staff that provides excellent services every day. I have no doubt that our community’s future is a bright one. Thank you to everyone who participated in our democratic process by voting.
