It has been another wonderful day across the Ozarks! Cool temperatures and low humidity made for a delightful day. Satellite shows a band of clouds dropping south along the Kansas Missouri state line. This should keep western counties a bit warmer tonight compared to last night. The rest of the Ozarks will have fair skies and cool readings with lows around 60 expected. Clouds are then forecast to over-spread the Ozarks on Wednesday with a chance for showers mainly south and west of Springfield. This will help to keep readings well below average and highs are only forecast to reach the upper 70s. It may be a bit warmer from Rolla to Lake of the Ozarks. The showers may linger into Thursday especially in north Arkansas. Temperatures should remain comfortable for late July with highs somewhere around 80. Warmer weather is forecast to return over the weekend with mid 80s forecast each day. There may also be a handful of showers too but for the now it appears this activity will be very hit and miss.
