It has been awhile since Ive posted updates on my little (not so little) pup! She healed completely from the fracture and was doing well. Until a few weeks ago, I noticed her front legs were swelling and then her back legs started to swell. And she was just sad all the time. We took her to the vet and found out she has HOD. It is a bone disease that causes bones to grown to fast for there bodies, common in giant breeds. She is on steroids to fix the problem and some pain meds to help her relax and be comfortable. She is suppose to stay off her feet as much as possible but the pain meds make her feel great so now I am looking for a big kennel. So I can know for sure she is staying off of them, if anyone has one or know of a good place to get one for not a lot that would be great we want to get at least a 36 × 40, so her bed will fit in it and she will be comfortable. Thanks again for all the support and help when she was hit!! This group saved her life and I am forever indebted to all those who stepped up to help!
