It has been brought to Admins attention by several followers that someone has set up a Facebook account pretending to be Richie Sambora. We shouldnt have to tell you, but we will: THIS IS THE ONLY OFFICIAL FACEBOOK PAGE FOR RICHIE SAMBORA. You see the blue circle with the checkmark? That means its official, confirmed, legitimate and sanctioned by Richie Sambora and Facebook. RICHIE has no opened up a second personal account to communicate directly with fans. Who ever this fraud is, he/she has been misrepresenting him/herself and some fans have participated. No, Richie is not giving out a NJ phone number to which you may text him personally. This imposter is not Richie. (Because those fans who fell into the trap are now being asked for money.) We beg you -- we know that the most important thing as a fan is communication and access and a connection to the artist. We try to help faciliate that here on Facebook (and via Richies official website and official Twitter feed) in a safe, professional and honest manner. We know many of you IM/message this account in hopes of personal responses from Richie; as stated prior, he cant possibly respond to all the wonderful messages... and while it might seem to be worth a hey, ya never know and communicate with someone claiming to be Richie online, know that Richie would never do that... We want you to stay safe online... be smart, be careful, be wary of anyone pretending to be Richie. Its not him. - Admin
