It has been brought to my attention by several concerned souls (who evidently dont have enough to do other than worry about me) that I concluded a recent posting with a bit of a cliffhanger ending which I never bothered to resolve, leaving them wondering (I shit you not) how things worked out. Bless you all for your concern. When last we left Our Intrepid Hero, Austin had come home from a day of filthy labor in which hed made Irreversible Progress in the re-plumbing of another property. Most of the old supply lines had been removed/torn out in preparation for replacement/modernization. So you can imagine the shock Austin encountered when he realized that the H2O heater in his own home seemed to have gone belly-up, leaving him with no hot water. And now--- The conclusion of Crisis In Vancouver (or) Austin Needs A Bath.... ---`Turns out that Id been doing a little electrical work at home last week and had inadvertently tripped a safety feature in the water heaters thermostat without knowing that Id done so. Thirty seconds with a flash light and a screw driver exposed the pretty red RESET button. I pushed the RESET button. The thermostat RESET and immediately started heating water again. Problem solved. Crisis averted. Boom. Done. Relax. Remain calm. Austin will most certainly continue to bathe. The End.
