It has been brought to my attention that somehow my joy has been mistaken as fake happiness. I normally would not comment on this, however; after much pondering and a couple of weeks have passed I feel compelled to address it. I think it bothers me because someone I love and trusted with some of my deepest darkest secrets is the poor misguided soul. It was brought to my attention that this person feels that I think my life is perfect and talked about me in a very harsh manner to someone she doesnt think I know. Actually, I dont know this person, we just know a mutual person. Well, person who I love very dearly; I have never felt nor do I feel now that my life is perfect. However, I do love my life and accept every trial and success with open arms and face it all head on with a smile on my face, victory in my being and praise on my lips. What you see is joy. The joy that comes from the Lord almighty. The kind that the world did not and cannot give therefore the world cant take it away. When you shared all my negatives I hope that God got some glory, I hope the person you shared with knows Him well enough to know that for me to have experienced all of that and still walk around joyful it was nobody but Jesus keeping me just like He is still keeping me. You didnt lie on me at all, I have been through some things, my marriage has been tried time and time again, my children have made some mistakes, Im not always the nicest person, I can be judgemental, I have suffered some addictions, I have lied, cheated....YES I HAVE BEEN A FILTHY RAG, but in the midst of it all God loved me and brought me out. Now He is cleaning me up, convicting me daily and we know that He only chastises those He loves so please know that when you see me its not a fake happiness Im wearing; it is the joy of the Lord God Almighty ~ The Great I Am. You should try Him, if He did it for me He will do it for you! I love you dear sweet friend of mine may our Lord and Savior bless you real good!
