It has been brought to my attention that someone (who is probably known to most of you) is spreading untruths about myself and SOS Podenco Rescue on the internet. I would just like to address the most important issues and dispel any lies that this person has put about. The attacks against me personally are, although an indication of this persons character, of no importance to me. The untruths concerning SOS, however, do concern me. Let me just point out again: SOS Podenco Rescue is a recognised, non profit organisation, registered in Spain, reg. no. G98599574. Please feel free to check with the registration body in Spain if you have any doubts about its validity. We have rehomed a large number of Podencos since SOS was founded and only 2 adoptions havent gone quite according to plan. However, both dogs were adopted by other people within days of the adoptions failing. We do have back up in all countries, including the USA, to which we re-home our dogs and not one of them has fallen ill or died since adoption - this is because we do our job properly and do NOT rehome dogs unless they are 100% fit and healthy! We do NOT advertise our dogs for sale on Preloved, Gumtree or Freeads on the internet as we are only too aware of the consequences of such actions. Our rescued dogs deserve better than that! If you have any doubts about our integrity or would like further clarification of the issues raised, please get in touch. I know that our long term supporters and friends dont need clarification because they all know how we work and what we do but, sadly, the person in question still has some followers who question neither her motives nor her honesty.
