It has been confirmed that Surin Taratin, leader of the anti-government Peoples Army to Overthrow the Thaksin Regime was shot dead during a clash today. Nine others were injured. This tragic event occurred when the movement went to protest at Wat Sri Iam (Bangna), which is one of the designated polling station, and was met by a handful group of red shirt supporters. Fighting for his cause until his very last breath, we would like to send our condolences to his family and friends.
