It has been many years that I have not celebrated Raksha Bandhan, the way I have the memories of celebrating it, in its preeminent way. But yes, the rituals are being followed each year devotedly. Receiving Rakhis from courier and tying it myself on the wrist, applying ‘kum-kum’ on forehead and then showering ‘Akshats’ on own-self, is the way I celebrate it for last many years. But i am happy, for thats the way how life progresses and unfolds itself. A recollection of childhood days brings so many satisfying memories alive. The memories are of my hands full of bright, shining, colourful & designer Rakhis tied by my sisters and most importantly the yummy sweets at the end. The memories of Raksha Bandhan encompass the sheer pleasure, the serene feeling of bonding and the enormous happiness. The occasion of Raksha Bandhan brings to me the experiential reliving of those memories every year. Missing all my sisters gifted by god to me and many others whom I met as a part of my life journey. You all are special to me, God bless you all. कोई लौटा दे मेरे बीते हुये दिन, बीते हुए दिन वो मेरे प्यारे पलछीन!!
