It has been said that all it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing. I have tried to be known as a good man, an example to my family friends and neighbors, to do good whenever I can. Having said that, while preferring to stay out of politics and the requisite political rhetoric that always follows the election season, I have been unable to stand idly by and see friends of a lifetime, cursed threatened and slandered here on this public media. I would remind my readers that to simply scroll past these slanderous and often profane posts which alludes to your friends, character, professionalism, honesty and fairness in the dealings, and not stand up and PUBLICALLY refute these posts you are by your silence allowing EVIL to flourish! I am not talking about someones right to support any candidate, I am talking about unfounded allegations which sink to the level of profanity and slander! I feel dirty when I do respond, I understand the theory of not getting yourself immersed in politics, and I wish I didnt feel led to respond to these nasty and dirty, politically and personally motivated posts,now if you think that the incumbent has done a poor job, then fine, I have no problem with that, but when you curse and bring allegations which are not aligned with your facts, I am not going to sit idly by while you spread your filth with no regards to the peoples lives, their honor, their character is being assaulted. If you have proof of these wild allegations, why arent you bringing the evidence forward to the appropriate authorities?
