It has been said that big business made this country what it is, and that seems to be evident with higher prices, no jobs, inflation, reoccuring recessions, fraud, corruption, and greed. What needs to be shouted from the roof tops is that the individual worker, in collective and organized groups, is the one who made this country great! There is no doubt about it! Sitting around and telling people what to do does not build an empire, or even a single house, or make a car. Labor day is meant to recognized the Anerican Worker who built this nation before Reagan started to dismantle the unions. It should of never happened. Bring them back for the sake of rebuilding the middle class!
