It has been said to me, in a complementary way that people are happy to see me still singing after all these years... Trust me. No one is more surprised than me... Usually the lifespan in music of any particular musician is never this long... I think what has worked for me is this. I actually love the kind of music that we do PLUS other people seem to like it too... I never try to get out of my comfort zone on songs... I know my limitations... And I do have them... I have been my own worst critic and I never thought I was better than I am... I was kinda cocky in the 80s but all the bands were back then... When I had a spandectomy removing the spandex and stopped wearing the lipstick and eye liner, I found my comfort zone... Plus I have a killer band with me... I pay attention to the P.A. And I guess I am just lucky... But I will be singing for as long as it is Gods will and the creek dont rise to high to get to the gig.... Come see us if you get a chance...
