It has come to my attention that I have upset a fellow VA with comments I have made publicly about a business partnership that came to an end. This person has publicly accused me of calling her unethical, an outcome which I did not intend nor allude to. It was never my intention to upset anyone in my response to a question that was asked of me. I attempted to answer this in as honest, truthful and diplomatic a manner as I could. I stated that our work ethics were different, but that in no way meant that I do, or did think the person concerned was unethical in any way. I am sorry that my words were misinterpreted as a personal attack, as I do believe I spoke on the difficult situation of a challenge faced by both of us in a clear and impersonal way based purely on our business decisions at the time. It is my honest opinion that just because people work differently, doesn’t mean that they can’t still be friends. It was this fact which led me to the decision made at that time, to choose to maintain the friendship despite the work differences. I have nothing but good wishes and thoughts for the person concerned. I would like to stress that in my business I have an open door policy. Should anyone wish to discuss anything with me - including concerns, queries or suggestions I am always open to fair and reasonable discussions. Chris Crowe
