It has come to my attention that Porthleven Harbour and Dock are to receive FUNDING for the repairs and mooring replacements caused by the winter storms, can anybody elaborate on this please???? I, as well as many others have been hit hard by ridiculous replacement mooring charges, this years charges are £236.60 for the mooring space that I rent, to £457.10 Plus V.A.T. Total £548.52 for mooring and replacement chains, ropes, shackles and Ball, NONE of which I asked for and NONE of which I needed, as being a boat owner for many years I have lots of all that I need in my shed!!! I wasnt given an opportunity to use my own gear, and had no idea that I would be charged after such a disaster. As I have refused to pay, im now being threatened with the possibility of court action, as well as interested added every month Is this Fair?????? your thoughts PLEASE:
