It has come to my mind that this past & current American System was never built to treat People of Color fair or for US to prosper here. The design of America treats people who have ancestors that where stolen & (used) in every since of the term for its personal gain as 2nd class citizens or yet still 3/5ths of a man. You can argue about how far we have come but when I wake up day after day to the news of Police killing our people, young & old and getting off Scott free, faith in this charade of a government is lost. I feel that I and a lot of us are burdened with a constant conscious dilemma. As we aspire to become more and more aware of our situation & state of People of Color & the world as a whole, on many levels we open our eyes to more and more injustice & outrage. We bare the burden of carrying anger, fear & hate mixed with so much madness over the years as we try to make since of things and keep up our daily lives. And again, the dilemma comes with more baggage... This American System & Country has turned a blind eye to us not just on occasion but every time it counts. I can see most of or at least recognize a lot of the problems as well as others... But my problem and possible the worlds problem is I dont see a solution in site nor on the horizon at all. I just know 1 thing... (WE CANNOT CONTINUE LIKE THIS.)
