It has now been one week since I had the lens implant surgery on my left eye. Today I went in for my 1 week post-op examination. I have 20/20 vision in my left eye. My right eye has now stabilized at 20/40. I am extremely well pleased with these results. Considering the fact that I nearly lost my right eye to a malignant melanoma about 30 years ago, the fact that I can see ANYTHING out of it at all is almost miraculous. I cannot remember ever being able to see 20/20 out of either eye at any time in my life. Doctor L. Andrew Watkins has done a fantastic job on my eyes. I am very pleased.
