It has occurred to me, a fleeting thought most likely, but, for the moment, so many things make sense to me. 1) The only thing that carries lasting importance in life are the interactions between sentient beings and the connections that form These connections are numerous, ever changing (to the moment) and far deeper than our conscious minds are aware of. They are the skeleton of collective consciousness. 2) Our minds are so overwhelmed with the 5 senses in every waking hour that unless we dream or die (or daydream or lose ourselves in some other way) we are stuck in our body. 3) Our minds are all the same. Our minds and therefor realities are 99% similar...gravity, the sky, having a body, a finite lifespan and human emotions are immense similarities compared to different taste in music, style or other worldly preferences. Because our minds all share these truly profound similarities, we all know each other. put it all together and you have your afterlife (really its there all the time, were just all a little egotistic while living)...the more you connect with others and live outside yourself, the more you are already there. When we die we add our diversity to the sea of "souls" which, without bodies, are always homogenizing. When we get so lost in the sea we eventually dissappear, we become the sea and are pure. When we are born, a portion of that great sea is poured into a blissfully ignorant baby, like a blank disc. Only to get filled up again, die and melt back into the sea - adding another lifetime of experiences to the collective conscious. Please comment
