It hurts my heart to say that our baby Percy in now in Heaven. None of us saw this coming. Percy had a fatal heart condition that was not realized until he went to get neutered today. To everyone at WAG, I can not thank you enough for everything you did to try to save our baby boy. It is because of all of you that we were granted the chance to say goodbye. Your love, compassion and gentle care goes above and beyond the norm. Today you all put your hearts and souls in to trying everything in your power to save our Percy and I am forever thankful for the love he was given by all of your wonderful staff and volunteers. Gayle and rushed Percy to McKenzie Animal Hospital where he was placed in to an oxegen tank. Once the radiographs were taken everything made sense. His heart condition was fatal and there wasnt anything anyone could have done to save him. McKenzie Animal Hospital was so gentle and compassionate towards our little boy. He passed peacefully with the two people who loved him the most and had his blankie that smelled like his mommy. My heart hurts for Gayle. Her love and dedication to Percy was more than I could have ever asked for. She even bought Percy his own Christmas presents. Percy felt more love in the last two months than most feel in a life time. A good friend told be that animals dont have a clock, they do not know what their life expectancy is. We as humans expected Percy to live at least 16 years but to Percy he didnt know his life was cut short. God only planned for Percy to be with us this short period of time but to Percy it was a life time of love and happiness. To everyone at WAG, Mckenzie Animal Hospital and everyone online praying for Percy, Thank you so much. And Gayle, as heart breaking as this is please take peace in knowing that YOU are what made Percys life here so beautiful. - with Gayle WilksTerrien
