It i crazy what is happening with the police in NYC. They first are often too violent on protestors, and dont seem to respect our rights as protestors. (this all handed down through orders from the top, these guys for the most part are just doing their jobs.THEN they protest the protestors (headed by diBlazio), by stopping arrests for possession, parking violations, and many other things.... Most thought our city would go into chaos without the police doing the revenue generating policing they are used to spending most of their times doing. But in fact it is not. Business as usual, except some folks who feel they can now drink in the streets without getting a summons. Hearing crime may actually be going down. Proving the current way of policing is maybe just a tad over the top. What do you think? Are the police proving what the protestors want? Police now just making sure nobody gets hurt, and nobody is ocmmittting major crimes. Maybe this can be a model for the new police state?
