It is 100% true. In the early 80, the Khmer temple of Prasat Phnom Rung in Buriram province was labelled as Indu temple in Lopburi style, because the Khmer temple in Lopburi, was printed on the 500 Bahts bank note. There was not a single word that those temples were built by the Khmer 1000 year earlier, at a time when Thai ethnic were still in South Yunnan and in the Lanna Kingdom, Chiang Mai today. What Thai learn at school about their history is seriously biased.
