It is 1st of July 2014. For us Rotarians, the wheel of Rotary has turned a full circle and more than 34,000 new Presidents along with their club officers have been replaced by a new set of people and about 350 District Governors have taken over from their predecessors as has a new Rotary International President. Kudos to those who led in service and fellowship for the whole year starting from 1st July 2013 and ending at midnight on 30th June 2014. Sounds a bit like Cinderella ...but imagine the magic of Rotary, a smooth transition, a silent turn over takes place as we re invent the wheel and rededicate ourselves to Serve above Self as always and further strengthen our bonds of friendship with each other - the 1.2 million strong organization, with our Rotary families, our Rotary Community Corps, our Rotaractors, Interactors and all our other associates who support us in our bid to do good in the world! This year let us Light up Rotary and bring about positive changes in the lives of those who are less fortunate and need us..e friends, let us take a pledge!
