It is 6pm; 08-04-2014. Three years ago to the day and hour... the obstetrician calmly walked into the delivery room at Mkhiwa Clinic...and walked out again. I was in excruciating pain. I wanted to kill everything on two and three legs. (Especially that darned Dr!) You see... I had decided, on the 7th April 2011 that this thing I had been lugging around for FORTY TWO WEEKS just HAD to get out. If I had to take a saw and hack it out myself I would. So I stomped into the clinic and DEMANDED to be admitted and induced or booked for a C-section. Of course they acquiesced! They wouldnt dare not! C-section was scheduled for 9am...and by 10am the doc hadnt pitched. Nor had he pitched by noon. Or 1pm...or 3pm. Sooo Sikhumulosetindiza decided...Oh darn it! I might as well do this my own damn self! At the rate this woman and her bunch of incompetents are going, ngiyophuma lana next year. And did it she so did! And oh my God she did it! That child was quite very nearly the death of me! For three long hours she tore at every ligament, muscle, nerve and tissue known to man in her quest to escape captivity (Ungeva nje kutsi abesolo ahleli leni all this time, nx!) Then that Doctor Zbanibani calmly strolled in at 6pm.Then he strolled right out. Then back in after 10 minutes... Did I mention that I had scheduled a C-section for 9AM??? Which in essence means I hadnt eaten in over 19 hours when I went into labour. Not that he cared, the sadist! Anywhooo...fastforward to 20 minutes later I was walking towards what turned out to be the cutest little alien-cum-tadpole sprog ever created on this Universe. Yes, after pushing that terrorist out I stood up and walked towards where they were slapping her bum. Bamshaya kancane if you ask me! And yes, I did the cradling thing while she was all gooey and mucky and ish. She was the cutest thing out of the Men in Black series of movies, I tell you. All three-coloured and all. Ncaaawww!....
