It is Christmas and I really want to be pleasant. But watching news on TV about mayhem in the airport, of passengers waiting for hours only to be told that their flights already left, and fully aware that they have been in queue as early as they can and hence there is no rhyme nor reason why they failed to make their flights, and then you have this DOTC spokesperson telling us that shit happens during holidays just makes my blood boil. Somebody should tell this official that the problem would have been minimized if they only have regional airports that can handle instrument landing, thereby preventing delays or cancellation of flights. They should have anticipated the Christmas rush and did some measures to avert delays and chaos. That is what they are being paid for. Geez. The incompetence of many in this Government is just infuriating. And then you have the President, after spending the day watching the movie of his nephew Bimby, telling us that his government is busy putting things into order. What order, Mr. President?
