It is EXHAUSTING to attempt to explain (1) Black on Black crimes in America. But then again, over 80% of White individuals are killed each year are killed by other Whites. No ones talking about that though. (2) The Barrel complex: We are not crabs in a barrel! A barrel is not a our natural habitat nor does it explain the privileges of other crabs who exist outside of said barrel! Additionally by calling us crabs, you validate that (a) there are exceptions that make it to the top (which is not necessarily wrong to say) but (b) that if others work hard enough they can make it as well. This ideology does not include intersectionality or -isms.
