It is Friends of CALL Thursday and we want to introduce you to another of our new employees, Elizabeth (Beth) Johnson. Beth has extensive experience in the non-profit world, journalism and technology. While working for a manager diagnosed with breast cancer, Beth saw first-hand how the diagnosis of cancer radically altered a personal and professional life - and it wasnt pretty. In addition, like many of us, she has several friends and family who have had cancer diagnoses and she has witnessed how difficult it can be to navigate the health care system, medical insurance, estate planning, work and family life. People need help after a cancer diagnosis and Beth is thrilled to be in a professional position that will allow her to connect others to the assistance Cancer Legal Line provides. When not at work, you can find Beth at the nearest Crossfit gym or in her laundry room trying to mate socks for her family of four.
