It is NASTY out there. Very windy and with ice pellets. I went out to see if I should switch propane tanks, but the 30lber felt surprisingly heavy so Im sticking with it. If it still has propane midday tomorrow, Ill have gone at least two full weeks on 50lbs at a cost of $50, and that includes cooking (I use my oven a lot). Without running electric heaters 24/7, I used to need 10 pounds per day of propane in these kinds of temps, so my two tanks would have been empty in five days. The electric heaters are great and only costing a couple of dollars a day. As an added bonus, Ive discovered i can run the one in the office on medium with the living room one on low, which really makes a difference with the pocket door closed. Im now off to bed. I preheated it and its just about nice and toasty. Just waiting for the jammies to warm up on the radiator. :D
