It is Tuesday morning and I am thankful: 1. For waking up bright and early this morning, but well rested as well. 2. That the hot tub will be shut down either today or tomorrow. I wont be using it alone and it does add to the power bill. It is either shut it down or drain and refill time. I just dont see any reason to heat that much water all winter. I can go soak in the bath tub if I really want to and it will be a lot cheaper on the monthly bills. 3. Now I just have to get the truck to the shop. Going to try to use Jessicas CAA card. It is her truck, in her driveway... so I am going to give it a try. I will be buying my own membership because they are very useful, but if I buy it online I cant use it for 48 hours.... so I will try to use hers. The worst thing they can do is say No. Then I just wait the 48 hours and use mine. Although I dont really need anything, it is a weird feeling knowing that I dont have a working vehicle. We had two for a long time so even if one had a problem we could just use the second... now they are both down. The Accent has been sold for parts... she sat for over a year in the driveway. Just waiting for her new owner to show up with a tow truck and take her away. 4. Getting the bits and pieces together for a test migration (business stuff). I have to move everything to a new environment... sort of like moving everyone in an office building to a new building. So far it looks like a fairly straight forward process, but I am still waiting for access to certain things so that I can see for myself. The nice thing is that I can test the entire process without ever impacting my clients. Then, when I know it will work, they simply cant make any website updates over a weekend... and it should be done. That being said, this will truly be one of those swan things... looks nice and calm on the surface, but there is a lot of movement going on under the water line. I used to live for these types of projects, but then I had a crew to work with. Now I have a hired hand and 3 different support desks to deal with. It gets the job done, but not in the same way. I miss being part of the implementation team. Oh well. So, busy days with business stuff and busy evenings sorting out paperwork/tax stuff seems to be working. I just have to remember to eat once in a while and it should all be good. Lady has been reminding me to feed her... and then I try to have something as well. It is not that I dont want to eat, I just dont think about it. Hope you are having a wonderful Sunny Tuesday too.
