It is World Suicide Prevention Day today and below is a link to brochures, banners, suicide facts and figures and much more. I would just like to take this opportunity to remind students of the supports available on campus, and other services that will be of help. ---------------------------------------------------- Counselling service: This is free to all students of UL and if you would like to call in, there is a drop in service from 11am to 12pm and from 3pm to 4pm Monday to Friday during term time. ----------------------------------------------------- Chaplaincy: Located on the SU Courtyard to the left of O Mahonys bookshop. Call in to have a chat with Fr. John or Sr. Sarah. These two are very much salt of the earth and are very good for a chat - they will pop the kettle on and share a cup of tea/coffee with you if you ever feel like talking. Their opening times are 9am - 5pm daily during term time. ----------------------------------------------------- Welfare Officer: Im located in the SU building. Take a right at reception and youll find me in the second door on the left! If you ever need to talk, want to get something off your chest, Im here to listen.
