It is a Sunny Sunday morning. Birds are singing and the howlers have been calling all morning. I am rested after taking a day off. I was soaked, cold and tired after the rally. The plight of our teachers, Police and medical personal is systematic of our broken down governing systems. The corruption in government is leaving nothing for the care givers and protectors of our society, our people. We the people must continue to push for laws to be enforced, for our Judaical system to enforce those laws by prosecuting to the fullest extent of the law. We need our police properly trained and paid. We also need these officers to be polygraphed at least once a year to weed out the corrupt officers. When you really start researching our systems that govern us you find that they are archaic bent and twisted by the corrupt and power hungry. We must keep fighting for today and tomorrow, our future and the future of our children! What motivates me to fight is my grandchildren as the world of crime and corruption that we are living in, is not the Belize that I grew up in! The past twenty years has seen a steady decline in our country. Crime and corruption rule. Since when do two wrongs make a right? Wrong is just plain wrong! No matter who red or blue doings if they do wrong then call them on it do not keep your head down in shame, and say nothing. It is our right and duty to call these politicos out on their wrong doings!
