It is a bit overcast a few degrees cooler this morning. We are again expecting more thunderstorms later today. We did not receive as much rain in yesterdays episode as we had in previous days. I’m going to try to get a photo today of the local corn crop. It is almost beyond belief. My back is slowly recovering from last weeks injury while installing the new router. I will attempt to mow the back yard today after it dries from the rain. It is very tall and may require two cuts. We will be attending the Highland Games in Grandfather Mountain in NC early next month. We did so a few years back. It is one of the largest gatherings of Scottish clans in the US and the venue is very reminiscent of the highlands in Scotland. A benefit is that my wife’s heritage is Scots and her clan, Home, (pronounced Hume) is represented at the games. Haggis was not available during our last visit but perhaps someone will have it available for the hale and hearty. I hope that all have a blessed day.
